Common questions
Where can I download TryWard?
TryWard is coming soon to Android and iPhone. Development is starting with Android, with an iPhone version planned. Public downloads are not available on Google Play or the App Store yet. This website will be updated when there is a release to try. The current preview has no payments or automatic subscription enrollment.
Who is TryWard for?
Adults 18 and older who want to practice responding to self-doubt and following through on small actions. Practices are designed for about five minutes, with a shorter option when you have less time. You can skip or stop any exercise.
Is TryWard therapy?
No. TryWard is a self-development tool. Its practices draw on published research, but the app’s adaptations have not yet been clinically evaluated. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, professional care, or crisis monitoring.
Where are my reflections and progress stored?
In the current preview, they are saved locally on your device. You do not need an account. There is no TryWard cloud backup, synchronization, or account recovery. Keep an export if you need your own copy before clearing storage or changing devices.
How do I export or delete my record?
Open Settings and choose Export my personal record or Delete all my local data. Deletion requires confirmation. Exported files are readable outside TryWard; choose their destination carefully. Deleting local app data does not remove exports or emails you have already sent.
Did the feedback I wrote in the app reach you?
The current preview saves feedback as a local draft. It does not send that draft to us. To contact us, use the email address above. If you choose to export feedback, review it before attaching it to an email.
Does TryWard work offline?
The current preview’s practices and local record work offline. Opening research sources, website pages, or email support needs the relevant connection. There are no account sign-in or online AI features in this preview.
Why didn’t my reminder appear?
Check the reminder setting in TryWard and allow notifications in Android’s app settings. Battery-saving and Do Not Disturb settings can delay or hide notifications. Reminders are optional and scheduled locally.
Can I report a concern about an exercise?
Yes. Send the practice title and what you think should change. You can report an unclear instruction, a research or citation issue, an accessibility problem, or an exercise that felt uncomfortable. You do not need to share personal details to explain the concern.
If you need help urgently
TryWard and this inbox are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. In the United States, call 911 for an emergency, or call or text 988 for suicide and crisis support. You can also visit the 988 Lifeline. Outside the United States, use your local crisis or emergency service.
