Where is my progress stored?
Lessons, XP, bookmarks, notes, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Can iOS back up my local data?
Depending on your iOS and Apple Account settings, Apple may include app data in a device or iCloud backup. Arjuna's Compass does not operate its own account or cloud-sync service and cannot access those backups.
Does the app require internet access?
No learning feature requires it. Scripture, lessons, reference material, and Sanskrit audio are included in the app. Optional source and license links open external websites and require internet access.
Why did a reminder not appear?
Open Settings in Arjuna's Compass and confirm Daily Reminder is enabled. Then check iOS Settings → Notifications → Arjuna's Compass.
How do I reset my progress?
Open the app’s Settings tab, choose Reset Progress, and confirm. This clears learning progress, XP, streaks, and badges. Bookmarks, notes, reminder settings, and theme are retained.
How do I report a text or pronunciation issue?
Email support with the chapter and verse number, what you observed, and your suggested correction if known.
Privacy
Arjuna's Compass has no account, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
