Privacy Policy

Overview

Arjuna's Compass is published by Sairic Enterprises, Inc. The app operates entirely on your device; the app itself does not collect, transmit, or share personal data.

Data collection

Arjuna's Compass does not collect personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login is required.
• No analytics or tracking SDKs are included.
• No advertising frameworks are used.
• The app does not transmit your learning activity, notes, or other app data to any server or third party.

Local storage

Your completed lessons, XP, streaks, badges, bookmarks, and notes are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. App preferences, including theme and reminder settings, are stored locally in UserDefaults.

The app does not send this information to us or operate a cloud-sync service. Depending on your iOS and Apple Account backup settings, Apple may include app data in a device or iCloud backup. Those backups are provided and governed by Apple, and Arjuna's Compass cannot access them.

If you delete the app, its local data is removed from that device. A backup created before deletion may retain a copy until you manage or remove that backup through Apple’s settings.

Notifications

Arjuna's Compass may request permission to send local notifications for daily practice reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No push-notification service or external server is involved.

Third-party services

Arjuna's Compass does not integrate third-party services, SDKs, or APIs at runtime. Its verses, lessons, glossary, and audio are bundled within the app.

Optional external links

The Sources & Editions screen contains fixed links to source and license records. A link opens only after you choose it and leaves Arjuna's Compass for your web browser. The app does not attach your notes, progress, or other app data to these links. Once opened, the destination is governed by that website’s privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

Arjuna's Compass is not directed specifically to children and does not collect data from anyone, including children. Availability to younger users is governed by the App Store age rating and any device or family controls.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date.
